about

i’m an artist + writer who lives in chicago. i’m currently an mfa candidate in northwestern university’s art theory + practice program. i began this tumblr as an experiment in circumscribing areas of thought, culture, sexual identity politics and art practices. i’m interested in this tumblr as a temporal site (a queer space?) where i and others might observe the contingency of fragments and a richness of meaning in context. in these ways, i am thinking of this as both an installation artwork and also a queer theoretical project. i am trying to find some kind of hope in the problematics of perverse, unstable and/or failing iterations within a system of control. it’s all here: the apparatus and the gossamer, slippery subject.
